Today we made finish lines because we have been reading a story called "The Hare and the Tortoise". We had only one piece of paper and we weren't allowed to use any glue, scissors or tape. It was really tricky but we managed to make some finish lines that were long enough. The trick was to rip it carefully around the edge of the square a bit like a spiral. It was hard work!
great!! the one thing that came out of this in our house was that Mrs Thomas ran through the finish line because it wouldn't be fair if only one person did it!! the point was missed perhaps....
